Season of Separation

In my season of separation, I learned three things:

  1. Separation is not about secluding yourself away from people physically.

  2. It's about moving your mind away from your self-limiting

    beliefs, fear, and doubts.

  3. Being patient with your processing because "unlearning" your self-limiting beliefs is very uncomfortable.

The Hard Reset

Hitting the reset button is hard, but I know you can do it.
I did it, and life is pretty good right now for me. So, how did I do it, and most importantly, how many times did I have to hit the reset button? Yes, I had to reset on many occasions, but with every reset, I became better in three important areas: mental, physical, and spiritual.

What’s Stopping You?

You're a mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother…some of you are
all of the above. You're everything in more ways than one. You are everything to everyone, and if you think about it, you're the constant center. Everything revolves around you, but we find ourselves
revolving around the ones we love. We spend most of our days
making sure they are taken care of, and we carve out what we call
"me" time. That little time of space that we get for ourselves out
of 24 hours a day to relax or simply take a break. If you're the center, how did you get on the outside? How do you get back to being centered and in control of your life? What's stopping you?

There’s Money in the Mess Up

Repeat after me: Life is not happening to you. It’s happening
for you. I don’t know of any single person, living or dead, who
didn’t go through some type of mishap in their lives. Whether you caused the mishap yourself or if it was beyond your control,…life happens. Life teaches us lessons. Incredible lessons of failure that
will eventually lead to success if you’re bold enough to try again.
The mess-up slaps us on the hands and says, “I bet you won’t do
that again,” or it will encourage you to try again, and again, and again.

My Self-Discipline Story

What would you say if I told you that life wasn't always
like this for me? What if I told you that my faith,
family, and finances were in jeopardy five years ago?
Well, it's true, and here's my story.

Self-Respect

In the last few posts, I’ve spoken about Self-Regulation, Self-Motivation, and Self-Discipline. Today, my fourth habit to my Point of Prosperity is Self-Respect. We all have different levels of self-respect, some more than others.

I’m going to give you some points on how to grow it and build it to its highest level.

Self-Esteem

Have you ever achieved something that you set out to do, and then have it taken away from you? How did you feel about yourself? Were you in despair like I was? Was your confidence shattered? Did your self-esteem drop a little, or did it crash and burn?
